Chapter 1

1:1Jude a servant of Jesus Christos, and brother of James, to them which are called and sanctified of Theos the Father, and kept for Jesus Christos:
1:2Eleos to you,and peace and love be multiplied.
1:3Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write to you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write to you to exhort you, that you should earnestly contend for the maintenance of the faith, which was once given to the Saints.
1:4For there are certain men crept in, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation:ungodly men, who turn the grace of our Theos into wantonness, and deny the only Despotes Theos, and our Kyrios Jesus Christos.
1:5I will therefore put you in remembrance, forasmuch as you once knew this, how that the Kyrios, after that he had delivered the people out of Egypt, destroyed them afterward which believed not.
1:6The Angels also which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness to the judgment of the great day.
1:7As Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them, which in like manner as they did, committed fornication, and followed strange flesh, are set forth for an example, and suffer the punishment of eternal fire.
1:8Likewise notwithstanding these sleepers also defile the flesh, and despise government, and speak evil of them that are in authority.
1:9Yet Michael the Archangel, when he strove against Diabolos, and disputed about the body of Moses, dared not blame him with cursed speaking, but said, The Kyrios rebuke you.
1:10But these speak evil of those things, which they know not:and whatever things they know naturally, as beasts, which are without reason, in those things they corrupt themselves.
1:11Woe be to them:for they have followed the way of Cain, and are cast away by the deceit of Balaam wages, and perish in the rebellion of Korah.
1:12These are hidden rocks in your love feasts when they feast with you, without all fear, feeding themselves: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds, corrupt trees and without fruit, twice dead, and plucked up by the roots.
1:13They are the raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame:they are wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.
1:14And Enoch also the seventh from Adam, prophesied of such, saying, Behold, the Kyrios comes with thousands of his Saints,
1:15To give judgment against all men,and to rebuke all the ungodly among them of all their wicked deeds, which they have ungodly committed, and of all their cruel speakings, which wicked sinners have spoken against him.
1:16These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts:Whose mouths speak proud things, having men's persons in admiration, because of advantage.
1:17But, you beloved, remember the words which were spoken before of the Apostles of our Kyrios Jesus Christos,
1:18How that they told you that there should be mockers in the last time, which should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
1:19These are they that separate themselves from other, natural, having not the Spirit.
1:20But, you beloved, edify yourselves in your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,
1:21And keep yourselves in the love of Theos, looking for the eleos of our Kyrios Jesus Christos, to eternal life.
1:22And have compassion of some, making a distinction:
1:23And other save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, and hate even that garment which is spotted by the flesh.
1:24Now to him that is able to keep you, that you fall not,and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with joy,
1:25That is, to Theos only wise, our Savior, be glory, and majesty, and dominion, and power, both now and forever, Amen.
